We started to go for a walk behind the house and the first thing we saw was a big black bear about 50 yards away. Fortunately Luna didn't see him and we got her (and us) back in the house. The bear wandered off. No photo unfortunately.
We drove up the mountain and walked in a meadow and let Luna run there. Then into town for lunch at the Wrap Shack.
After dinner we walked the trail behind the house (with our bear spray), but didn't see a bear. Lots of wildflowers blooming now.
